CHALLENGE
Costa came into prominence making premium sunglasses for the East Coast ocean-oriented sports market. They chose Lifestyledesign to develop a range of sunglasses that would update and expand their product lines, strengthen their overall leadership position and spearhead entry into a wider market base, with particular focus on California and the West Coast.
APPROACH
Our Santa Barbara location, the quintessential hub of high style and all things ocean-related, affords us a unique immersion in West Coast fashions, trends, sports and activities. Our intimate knowledge of coastal California lifestyle was key to developing an in-depth strategy for Costa’s efforts in targeting this unique market segment and broadening their product appeal worldwide.
RESULTS
To date, Lifestyledesign has developed a wide range of over 20 premium sunglasses for Costa, each with a unique look and feel, strategically expanding the Costa line year-over-year.
