CHALLENGE
Costa has had tremendous success with Anglers and is regarded as the gold standard in fishing eyewear. Considerable work has been done in the Core User space, but for 2020, our goal is to build out a product line that reaches out to Recreation and Beach users in order to expand the market for Costa.
APPROACH
LSD developed 2 focused strategies: for core users, we elevated the category with a flagship product featuring innovative function and fresh styling. For beach and recreation users, we designed a collection of products that reflect the Blue Water vibe, and is tough, comfortable, fashionable and relevant.
RESULTS
These new designs expand the Costa portfolio into a more casual and fashion-relevant market, as well as building on the brand perception of solid performance in and around the water.

Ray Ferguson founded Costa Sunglasses with high standards and the frame bearing his name continues that legacy.
