CHALLENGE
Innovate and design a variety of outdoor products that are rugged and durable, and that maintain and advance the GSI brand across all new product categories. Present meaningful innovation, sophisticated design, solid engineering and advanced CMFG for a range of new products..
APPROACH
Beginning with research into the competitive and user market data, LSD outlined user profiles, collected and curated relevant materials and engineering data, and helped define the GSI design DNA. This was followed by an extensive conceptual design phase, then iterative prototyping and testing. In the final Design Refinement phase concepts were further developed through DFM, CFMG and engineering refinement.

GLACIER STAINLESS VACUUM BOTTLE
The Glacier Vacuum-insulated bottle, made of 18/8 stainless steel, provides unrivaled purity, durability, and superior heat and cold retention for up to 30 hours. Innovative cup/cover's stainless steel liner and insulating plastic exterior protect lips, hands and taste.
GLACIER STAINLESS JAVAPRESS
The JavaPress French press coffee maker is made of ultra-rugged, high-grade 18/8 stainless steel. It’s innovative silicone ring-plunger is an exclusive GSI feature that virtually eliminates coffee ˜blow-by' for the most flavorful, mud-free coffee or tea. Double wall steel construction and the pour-through lid provide superior heat and cold retention for up to 18 hours.
COMMUTER JAVAPRESS
The GSI exclusive sliding inner carafe replaces the rod from classic French Presses for unencumbered drinking and an additional layer of insulation. The vacuum-insulated design made of 18/8 stainless steel provides unrivaled purity and durability with superior heat and cold retention. A spill-resistant, double-walled top and sealable spout prevent spills and heat loss, while a non-slip base helps keep the cup upright.
ULTRALIGHT TABLE
The GSI Ultralight folding table is ideal for backpacking or family camping, this small camping table serves as a stove deck, off the ground eating or food prep surface. It is made of high-grade aluminum and folds flat (and tiny). It is flame and heat resistant, supports up to 20 lbs. and has its own tote bag.
