CHALLENGE
SOUL is a global leader in consumer electronics and manufacturing, with a rich history of delivering innovative technology including high quality audio, noise cancelling, and wireless products. Renowned sound engineers and Grammy award winning artist Chris “Ludacris” Bridges created the first headphones together. Their mission is to make the best audio products for every lifestyle at affordable prices. Lifestyledesign was chosen to design earphones and earbuds that reflect and enhance both the intrinsic aural and technological superiority as well as the high-end urban style preferences of the user.
APPROACH
As a starting point, LSD launched research to update and expand our knowledge of the headphone market. This was followed by an in-depth exploration of existing and emerging sound and “connected” technologies. And finally, we conducted extensive research to understand and profile the end-user. The goal was to support SOUL’s technology and vision, and express it through relevant, sophisticated design.
RESULTS
Advanced ear-pods and over-ear headphones: Sleek, sport/active design, stellar sound, superior technology – great sounds with SOUL.
